6 Months of taking India ahead

The BJP government under the leadership of Sri Narendra Modi has completed six eventful months of its second term. In just six months we have seen some monumental decisions from the government showcasing its resolve to take the nation to greater heights

The Narendra Modi government has made key decisions to ensure that the growth of both the nation and its unity happens simultaneously and more and more people get touched by its welfare policies. Armed with a motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwaas’, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a massive majority took oath as the leader of the nation, he promised that he will put India’s interests both internally and on the global stage as his priority.

While the much-discussed abrogation of Article 370 has united the nation like never before, it has also opened up Kashmir to trade, commerce and development. India along with becoming stronger internally is also performing exceptionally well on the global stage and its climbing up on the ease of doing business index is a great sign of the days to come.

In a house where BJP possesses a heavy majority, I am proud to say that we have seen some of the most productive sessions of the Lok Sabha. The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha was the most productive as well as a beneficial one for the nation which saw the introduction of 33 bills and passage of 35 bills. The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill was one of such historic bills that was passed during this session for which I must congratulate all the MPs of BJP and its allies. The passage of this bill has paved the way for social equality and has empowered Muslim women of the nation.

The setting up of Jal Shakti ministry with an aim of providing clean drinking water to every home, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana covering 14 crores farmers are again some of the moves which will play a crucial role in strengthening India.

Modi 2.0 in just six months has shown that it is competing with itself and is aiming for greater heights. Sri Narendra Modi, through his dynamic leadership, has made the concept of ‘Nation First’ loud and clear. The trust that the 130 crore people of the nation have placed in him has been responded with actions and in the coming years, we will have many more monumental steps for the nation to rejoice and feel proud about.
